I posted a pic of the male the other day, and today I was lucky enough to catch a snapshot of the "Mrs." I love that they are coming this close to the house. I think they are such pretty birds. More cards to come.....

I love the way this card turned out. Another one made from papertreys quilters sampler set. I cuttlebugged the background, stamped out some of the blocks and colored them, and the blue ones are just punched out from patterned paper. I love the way they look together. A button threaded with floss to finish it off, and voila' a cute card. (I think anyway)
These were some fun cards that I made for my mom to give to her quilting friends. I used papertrey kraft cardstock for the base card. The sentiment is also from the same set as the blocks, quilters sampler. I used a making memories heart brad. Fun cards to make.
I thought I would post the picture I took this morning of my favorite bird I have coming to my feeders. I just love cardinals. They are so pretty.

I talked my mom into getting this set for me, so I could make cards for her quilting friends. I think this is one of my most favorite sets yet from papertrey. I cuttlebugged the background, and then used my scor-pal do divide the cuttlebug part and the plain part. Used a prima flower, along with my favorite martha stewart punch, thread a button, and voila a cute little quilting card!
This was a fun card to make. Sometimes I forget about sets I have. I colored it with my newest toys the 'copic markers'.. gosh they are great! I used the nesties for the scallope circle for the boat. Ribbon, red eyelet to match the life preservers on the boat. Stampin up photo corner punch, and of course that gorgeous basic grey paper!!
