A different sort of card for me. Cuttlebugged the green layer, then paper pierced around the whole outside edge of that, added a prima flower with a dew drop in the center, add a couple ms branch punches and done. Time to go play and make some more.. what do you think?
Another fun halloween card to make. This is another one of my favorite sets "best fiends". I just can't decide which one I like the most, the witch, frankenstein, or dracula. This was fun, I prisma/gamsol colored, used the cuttlebug swirl folder, added some prima flowers, along with some black stickles, the MS branch punch (which I LOVE)... throw on some ribbon, and I was done. What do ya think?
This is my first attempt at dry embossing with the nestie folders. I love the way it turned out. This is sort of a "plain Jane" kind of card, but I still like it. I prima pencil/gamsoled the coloring. The sentiment is from papertrey ink. The little orange star is from K&Company. Overall I like the card, now to figure out who to send it to for Halloween....

Here is my attempt at making the house cards. What a time-consuming card to make! But all in all, I think I am happy with the results. I think what took the longest was cutting out Riley with that Christmas tree. So many little crooks and crannies to get into. I also struggled with the curtains. I used ribbon, and not sure I would go that route again. But it was fun to make. Someone special will be getting this card!

Okay, I know its not a craft project, but I just had to post this picture that I took last week. A little buck stealing apples from my tree!!! Crazy thing came by 5 times that day. I thought this would be a fun picture to share.

This card was fun to make using the tradtional christmas colors. I liquid appliqued their hats for a fun touch. ALso used a silver brad for an extra little depth. I pop-dotted the main image but you can't really tell. Colored it with prisma pencils. A fun card to make.. watch for more to come....
I was so anxious to get my new stamps yesterday! This card there is alot going on. Not usually the way I do them, but I kind of like the way this one turned out. I cuttlebugged the background, colored the image with prima pencils, matted it on blue, used liquid pearls for the hats, and then some stickles. Also my newest love of prima flowers, I also did the liquid pearls for the center of the flowers to try and pull it all together. Then the martha stewart branch stamp, are stuck here and there. Not too bad looking, is it too busy tho?
